ETM is a forward-thinking quintet that has crafted a distinct sound in avant-jazz since their formation at New England Conservatory in 2021. This ensemble features an eclectic instrumentation of newer musicians from the NYC/Boston jazz scene – Ariel Vera (vocals), Lemuel Marc (trumpet), Miranda Agnew (trumpet), Violet Reiss (bass), and Kabir Adhiya-Kumar (drums). Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of artists like Henry Threadgill, Old and New Dreams, Genevieve Artadi, and Kris Davis, ETM presents an unconventional, yet captivating, genre-bending experience.
