ABOUT
Tidebloom Records is an artist-run NYC-based label committed to releasing new music and providing resources to genre-bending artists. Tidebloom juxtaposes the chaotic free-flowing textures of tides with the more structured and intricate qualities of flora (blooms). We seek to incorporate the work of visual artists and animators to enhance the aesthetic of our releases. Tidebloom Records was founded by Adam Cordero & Odin Scherer in 2023.
THE FOUNDERS
New York native Adam Cordero is a saxophonist, clarinetist, bassoonist, composer, and educator based in Queens, New York. Adam's extensive work as a co-founder of the organization & music venue Julian's NYC has inspired him to launch Tidebloom Records alongside his closest collaborator, Odin Scherer. He hopes to offer groundbreaking musicians the support & resources they deserve from a record label.
Odin Scherer is a Brooklyn, NY based guitarist, composer, improviser, mixing engineer, and painter from Katonah, NY. In September of 2023, Odin released his debut EP orb weaver, which reflects on the beauty of the golden ratio in nature. He is excited to release and promote new music through Tidebloom Records, and hopes to provide like-minded artists with a robust platform to showcase their work.
